The Chapman StickTM is a unique instrument created by Emmett Chapman and first introduced to the world in 1973. The act of fretting a note plays the note so you don't have to pluck or strum. This means you can fret notes with both hands, playing bass parts, chords and melodies all at the same time. You can read about the history here.
My Chapman Stick is a Grand Stick made of Koa wood, and it has twelve separate strings (not in double courses like a twelve string guitar). Anyway, on to the music.
This is an original tune for which I've always intended to record vocals,
but haven't yet. I played Stick and keyboards.
